Motion Quiz (“the app”) is a camera-gesture quiz game with optional Solana score recording and Photo Moment NFT features. This policy describes what data the app may use and store.
Camera and gameplay
The app may request access to your device camera to detect left/right gestures during gameplay and to capture Photo Moments. Camera frames used for gesture detection are processed for gameplay on your device. The app does not upload continuous video for gesture detection.
Photo Moments and NFT minting
If you choose to mint a Photo Moment NFT, the selected image (and related metadata you confirm) may be uploaded to Supabase Storage and referenced in NFT metadata on Solana. Only moments you explicitly select for minting are uploaded for that purpose.
Solana scores and leaderboard
If you record a score on Solana, the app helps you create an on-chain memo transaction through your wallet. Verified score records stored in Supabase may include:
- Your wallet address (public key)
- Score, topic/pack, accuracy, and session timing
- Solana cluster (e.g. devnet or mainnet-beta)
- Transaction signature and block time
On-chain transactions are public on the Solana network. Leaderboard data may be visible to other users of the app.
Wallet and keys
Wallet connection and transaction signing are handled by your wallet app (for example via Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter on supported devices). Motion Quiz does not collect, store, or transmit your private keys or seed phrases.
Local storage
The app may store quiz progress, settings, calibration preferences, and locally cached score/NFT session data in your browser or WebView storage on your device.
Third-party services
- Supabase — score leaderboard, NFT asset storage, and related backend APIs when configured.
- Solana RPC providers — to read chain state and submit transactions you approve.
- Vercel — hosts the web app at motion-quiz.vercel.app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us using the email below.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above will change when material updates are published.
